The idea for this book is based on Isaac Asimov’s Book of Facts, a book of trivia by Isaac Asimov. You probably could have guessed the author from the book’s title. It was first published by Grosset & Dunlap in 1979. To this day, it is a recommended read. Even though some of the medical and tech information is dated, it remains very entertaining.

This book aims to capture the same entertainment value as its spiritual predecessor. All facts presented here are fact-checked by human researchers. Special care was taken to ensure the relevance of the facts as much as possible. For example, instead of stating the distance of Voyager 1 from Earth at the time of finalizing the e-book, it was mentioned that Voyager 1 “is the farthest human-made object from Earth, having entered interstellar space in 2012.” That sort of thing; in the hopes that it will be a while before another human-made object with a more powerful drive will overtake it.

I hope the readers will enjoy this collection of facts as much as I enjoyed reading Isaac Asimov’s book when I was a teenager.
